Do you feel there is a lot of chaos and noise around you?

What about the chatter you have in your own mind?

Do you find yourself reacting most of the time rather than responding to what is happening now?

How are you dealing with COVID-19 Pandemic? Are you stressed out and full of fear and worry?

What about that inner critique telling you that you are not good enough, worries about everything that could go wrong, and feels guilty or angry about everything that you did in the past?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, do not worry, you are not alone.  We all do it to a certain extent. Some do it more often than others, and for some, the chatter of the mind is louder than others.

Cultivating mindfulness and self-awareness is the key to calming the monkey mind. It is the key to having clarity of thinking and responding to situations rather than reacting. Observing the observer is how you can cultivate mindfulness. When you have awareness of what is going on in your unconscious mind you become more and more aware at the conscious level and that is how you become more mindful in your life.

When you develop mindfulness, you start taking control of your life and stop running on autopilot. You start taking control of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. You will then have the power to choose better thoughts, better emotions, better responses, and a better life.

Once you develop self-awareness you start to unlock your potential and live the life of your dreams. That is my reader what makes you different than others when responding to rapid changes in the world such as during COVID-19 pandemic

You may ask me! How can I cultivate self-awareness and mindfulness? My answer to you is quite simple.

Just sit quietly and observe your thoughts. Do not judge them. Just observe them and let them go. Be patient with yourself and adopt an open mind to what may come up. When you observe your thoughts, you will realize that you are not your thoughts. They are only thoughts that you can change at any moment of your life.

As you continue to cultivate awareness, you will realize that the power is in the present moment. That is really all you have. It is the only moment that you can control unlike the past or the future. Being present and paying attention to what is happening now is what mindfulness is all about. It is where you have power and control over what happens in your life. It is the moment that allows you to make better choices and a better life.
